Samsung Dex Dock Design:

The design of Samsung Dex appears like a small holding dock with a few USB ports on the back. It has a flippable open top where your Galaxy Smartphone will be placed. No need to worry about charging, Dex will automatically charge your phone.

Samsung Dex has an inbuilt cooling fan to cool down the device so don’t worry about heating problems.Dex supports all types of ports, and it has Ethernet, HDMI, USB 2.0 and USB Type-c ports for connectivity. Whether your phone has USB 2.0 or the latest USB Type-c port you can just connect to whichever port is required.

Android Apps on Desktop:

With Samsung Dex, you can use your mobile Android apps on the desktop, view more content with an expanded interface menu. A user can work with multiple documents at the same time and swap between apps more quickly.

Keyboard and Mouse Shortcuts

Just like a desktop operating system, with attached keyboard user can toggle between applications, copy and paste the selected information, open menus and undo mistakes and much more features. With mouse controller selecting menus and performing different operations will become faster and simple.

It’s been so hard while selecting multiple images and files into Email attachments in a mobile phone, but with the Samsung Dex, you can just select multiple files and pictures quickly drag into Email or Messaging applications.

Even after connecting your phone to Samsung Dex device, you can also receive phone calls, text messages, and settings which are accessible from the taskbar on your monitor. Just like Windows notification menu, Samsung Dex has a notification taskbar on the bottom right side of the screen in which you have access to calls, messages, battery, volume and Wi-Fi networks.

Access Windows

If you have pre-installed Windows operating system on your desktop, you can access your windows files and media using a Virtual desktop interface such as Citrix Receiver, VMware Horizon client, and Amazon workspace applications. After installing any of the above Virtual clients, you can load your Windows operating system menus, and you can even transfer files from windows to your Samsung Dex platform.

Samsung Dex Security Features

Samsung Dex comes with inbuilt security features such as Samsung pass which enables a quick log into your all online accounts without typing your password. A user can select different email clients and social media sites to save their password with Samsung pass, whenever user tries to login selected sites it automatically detects and logs into the website or online account.

With Samsung Dex, a user can create a secure folder to keep sensitive information with an additional password. This feature allows you to save your privacy data safe with a PIN. You can set backup options to restore your data, and it enables to reset your password if you have forgotten.
