Nissan Terrano Facelift 2017 version : Full review
Nissan India recently launched the all new Nissan Terrano ‘Facelift’ into the market. It is an advanced version for Nissan Terrano, which started in October 2013. So, the facelift of Nissan Terrano is in the form of appearance and makes it have a healthy look with some refreshing aspects.
The mechanical system of the automobile remains the same. The new developments are in the area of cosmetic updates and addition of many other features. This model gives a fierce competition to the nearly same budget cars like Hyundai Creta, Mahindra Scorpio, Renault Duster and Honda Br-V.
What is new inside the Nissan Terrano facelift?
Nowadays, an automobile is no more a mechanical vehicle moving on roads. Times have changed, and there is a significant development in the aesthetic appearance, safety, comfort and other parameters.
Exterior and Interior features
The SUV comes with electronically foldable ORVM’s (Outer rear view mirrors), LED headlamps and turn indicators. Regarding the external looks, the model is available in a new color being Sandstone brown color, apart from the six natural colors: Sapphire Black, Bronze Grey, Blade Silver, Sterling Grey, Pearl White and Fire Red.
A glance at the central aspects, the car system contains a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It facilitates voice recognition and navigation. An armrest facility for the driver and including the integrated control buttons is a new development. The steering wheel is also modified. With a new fabric and illumination for power, windows make the inside appearance more soothing.
The cruise control and the hill climb assistance are another new features included in the model. Regarding the car safety, the model comes with dual air bags and anti-locking braking system.
Mileage and Engine Specifications
The model comes in two fuel variants being petrol and diesel. The 1.6 liter, four cylinder petrol engine can deliver a power of 102.5bhp and a torque of 145Nm. The diesel engine with a 1.5-liter capacity develops two states of power, 83.8bhp and torque being 200Nm, and 108.5bhp and torque of 248Nm. When considered about the mileage issue, the petrol engine gives a mileage of 13.0kmpl, whereas the diesel engine gives a mileage of 19.87kmpl.
The model is a 10 lakh budget car on its core variant with all the required features, and the top end, however, reaches 14 lakhs. The details regarding the options and their prices are as below:
