Google Daydream VR headset was launched at 2016 Google I/O last year, but it is available for sale only in selected countries such as US and UK. Now Google officially launched Daydream VR headset in Indian markets yesterday with a price tag of Rs 6,499, and it is exclusively available in Flipkart store.

Along with the purchase, you will also get a 1-year addition from the date of Daydream VR headset purchase, and there are also some discount offers available for Google VR headset. PhonePe users will get flat Rs 300 while buying from Flipkart store and also first 30 customers will also receive a Google chromecast device free, and for the first 50 customers also receive a Rs 500 credit in Google Play store.

There’s been a drastic improvement in Google daydream VR headset over the previous Google Cardboard VR such as Android nougat and Motion controller for gaming purpose. Unlike the cardboard VR device, the all new Google daydream VR headset comes with a SoC’s, displays and motion sensors.

Google listed out 8 popular branded mobile phones which are compatible with Daydream VR views such as LG, Samsung, HTC, Huawei, Asus, ZTE, Alcatel, and Xiaomi. Along with the Google listed daydream compatible mobile brands, Motorola also added Moto Z mobile phone with daydream VR support.

The all new Google daydream VR headset design is inspired by the clothes material which is soft and breathable fabric to stay comfortable. Google daydream VR headset comes with lightweight and comfortable design, and the front facepad can be easily handed washable. Daydream device is made with cloth design, so it rests comfortably on your nose without making any marks like other VR headsets.
