Indian BARC Scientists Developed Credit Card sized Portable ECG machine
BARC launched a credit card size ECG machine which cost only RS 4000. Technology has been developing day to day, in olden days we used to go for Hospital to check up Sugar levels and Blood pressure levels. But today not anymore, we got a pocket sized portable Medical equipment, which any can use without any trouble.
These days medical costs became very high, and the people who cannot afford these facilities are suffering to get complete medication. A team of BARC (Baba atomic research center) developed a Pocket-friendly size ECG monitor machine. Usually, BARC develops the latest technology in Nuclear weapons and other missiles for Indian Army.
But, BARC scientists decided to Create a pocket-friendly ECG machine which anyone can afford. A group of scientist worked on this machine for Months, finally developed an affordable device which helps many Heart problems patients in India.
ECG Test Costs in India:
At present ECG tests costs more than Rs 250-1500. Prices may vary according to different hospitals. Big Hospitals may charge more than the amount we stated above. Anyway, it almost costs more for people who can’t afford it. Heart patients need weekly checkups, so almost 5 full checkups in a month which cost more than 5000 Rs.
Android App for Pocket Sized ECG Machine:
BARC scientists also made Android App for this credit card size ECG machine, so people who worry about its operation it became so easy for them no need to depend on others. Patients can monitor and control their operation using Android App.
This Credit card sized ECG (Electrocardiogram) records the complete electrical activities and signals of a human brain. These monitor results used to prevent heart attacks in Patients. ECG machine connected to Mobile App users can monitor their Activities using a mobile phone.
ECG Machine Price:
BARC scientists stated that this 12 Channel Pocket sized ECG device will cost around RS 4000 so that everyone affords it. It may be the only one pocket-sized ECG machine all over the world.
The ECG machine should fully charge before using, it can be charged using Mobile phone adapter, and output data will automatically transmit through the mobile app. It supports all Network bandwidths in India.
Do you know, one person dies in every 30 seconds to Heart attacks? More Heart attack patients are dying every day in India. And the people who can’t afford private hospitals are more suffering with Heart attack problems.
While other imported ECG machines are so much expensive and also heavier in size. Indian manufacturers have no interest to develop such things, and this becomes more expensive for patients.
It also has a real-time report sharing facility, after checkups patient can easily share their health reports to Doctor’s through their Mobile App. Using this feature a plenty of time is being saved, and also it saves patient lives.
Credit card size ECG Machine Features:
On a single full charge, this pocket-sized ECG machine can run and perform up to 300 ECG reports without any issues. However this concept wasn’t new, Indian scientist made pilot project 3 decades ago, but the model struck with Network problems.
Last but not least feature is that, after completion of their ECG reports they can print out those reports using Print option in ECG machine. They can easily connect their printers and print their complete ECG Health reports for further uses.
