Casio technologies have officially launched Casio Pro Trek WSD-F20 smart watch, and the watch is priced $500. The Pro trek smart watch comes with an advanced feature, and it is specially designed for trekking purpose. The full-color display is plus point for the smart watch because most of the Smartwatches doesn’t have color display feature.

GPS + Full Color Map
Casio Pro Trek WSD-F20 smart watch comes with GPS feature along with the Full-color Map on the watch display so you can find the best routes while trekking. The Trek watch also shows exact and accurate live location, and the positioning data will be taken from three satellites American GPS, Russian GLONASS and Japanese MICHIBIKI. The watch will steadily receive the location data and displays your current position on a color map by using signals from three satellites.
Offline Map Usage
As we mentioned, the Casio’s Pro Trek has the capability to show a full-color map and the location data is received by three satellites, but users will get a doubt that what if the trekking place doesn’t have an internet connection? The Pro Trek watch has offline maps supports through which user can download the particular area map. So even if you don’t have an internet connection, you can view the map using the offline feature.
The user can write memos on the map, so you can also record your actions by marking the places on the map, or you can use voice input to make notes. Just like the Google maps, the user can change their map designs depending on the type of activity and purpose of use. The Pro trek watch allows you change different map designs such as dark, light, outdoors, streets-satellite and streets.
Two new display interfaces
The all new Casio’s Pro Trek WSD-F20 smart watch comes with two new display interfaces which are linked to GPS system. The first interface is ‘Location’ is an advanced watch face through a design representing the GPS and map functions and animation of the maps.
The other ‘Traveler’ interface enables the user to switch between the two types of information to be displayed, and it will show you the present location and the other window can be used to launch the corresponding apps from the watch
Android Wear 2.0
The Casio’s Pro Trek WSD-F20 smart watch comes with latest Android wear 2.0 update. The latest version comes with various features such as ‘Easier communication’ features which responses to messages and emails can be easily managed by using voice inputs, keyboard or handwritten inputs. A user has the choice to answer or reject calls through the watch without touching your Smartphone.
The Pro trek watch has inbuilt Google assistant feature which can be used to replying messages, setting up reminders or ask for map directions. To use and communicate with Google assistant feature, all you have to do is hold the power button or Say ‘Ok Google.’
The Casio’s Pro Trek smart watch has access to Google play music feature, so you can download and play songs with wireless earphones. So those who loves to listen to songs while trekking, the watch has access to Google play music lists. The Pro trek smartwatch also has Google fit feature, so you can view your travel distances and times on the watch display which is a useful tool when practicing running, walking or cycling.
