Wireless and Ethernet accessories manufacturer Billion company recently launched Billion BiPAC 8920NZ Dual-SIM 3G/4G LTE Embedded V/ADSL2+ Wireless-N VPN Firewall Router priced Rs 29,630 which is integrated with the 802.11n Wi-Fi access point and 4-portgiga switch. This Wi-Fi router may be the first one that uses M2M technology which offers a two built-in SIM slots to make 100Mbpsof downstream rates.

The BiPAC 8920Z router offers a Dual SIM slots so you can insert 3G/4G LTE SIM cards to enjoy the continuous internet connection. The Dual SIM slot supports a 100Mbps of downstream rates, so from now on no need to worry about the lowest internet speeds. As we know, 4G LTE connectivity has been increasing day by day in the Indian market, and it has a faster internet speed which allows you to watch movies, music, accessing your emails no matter where you are.

As we said, you can use Dual 4G LTE SIMS in the BiPAC 8920Z router, but only one SIM will be functioned at a time. The other SIM slot is provided because it will be used as a failover between two SIM’s and this can’t be used for link aggregation. You don’t have to worry about the USB 3G/4G modem compatibility because the router itself acts a modem for network connectivity. So whenever the router detects there is no internet connection through the primary WAN device, it will directly transfer all the traffic to the 3G/4G modem. If the primary WAN connection is back, the router will automatically move to the primary interface function, and the 3G/4G modem will be disabled.

Secure VPN

BiPAC 8920Z Wi-Fi Router supports IPSec VPN (Virtual Private Network) protocols which offer users to create a secured and encrypted VPN’s up to 16 connections over the internet. This feature will be so much helpful in corporate offices because sharing sensitive data between the main branch offices to the remote site areas can be easily transmitted through the secured VPN connection.

Responsive Net connection

The BiPAC 8920Z router offers full control options to the user so that you can control the outgoing internet traffic and you can even set the priorities to specific signals such as gaming packets, IPTV streaming, and VoIP calls through the router. The user can control various operations that are being performed by the router so that the Internet bandwidth is not saturated while browsing.

Faster wireless speeds and coverage

As we mentioned, the all new BiPAC 8920Z router has an 802.11n wireless access point which delivers up to a 6times greater speed and 3times the regular wireless coverage. BiPAC 8920Z router supports up to a 300Mbps data speeds, and it also has (WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK and WEP) security feature which enhances the level of internet security transmission. You can extend the router Wi-Fi coverage by enabling the built-in wireless distribution system (WDS) repeater function which extends the Wi-Fi coverage without using any extensions or cables.
