Adobe scan app with Text recognization

Adobe on Wednesday launched a new Adobe scan app for both Android and iOS users which can be used to scan documents with amazing clarity. The best thing about the Adobe scan app is, it comes with the Adobe document cloud integration so you can store your converted documents into the Adobe cloud storage. The new Adobe scan app is available in play store which is free to download, but you need an Adobe ID to get access to its latest features.

The latest Adobe scan app performs just like other regular scanning applications out there, and Adobe scan app offers various options such as sharpening scanned documents and applying different touch ups to the document for better viewing. However all these features are available in other scanning apps, but the only thing which differentiates the Adobe scan app with other apps is the all new Adobe text recognition technology.

Adobe scan app Features

Adobe app not only used for scanning your documents and it allows you to edit the scanned documents using the advanced Adobe text recognition technology. There is one more feature included in new Adobe scan app that is, a user can scan multiple documents at a time, and they can save all individual documents as a single PDF file.

As we mentioned the new Adobe app is free to download for both Android and iOS users, Android users can get this app from playstore. The company mentioned about the Adobe new scan app features in the description which state that “The free Adobe Scan and text recognization app turns your device into a powerful portable scanner which recognizes text automatically. You Turn anything – notes, documents, pictures, business cards, whiteboards – into an Adobe PDF with content you can reuse,”

Bryan Lamkin vice president at Adobe Digital media said that “Adobe Scan represents a radical re-imagination of how to capture the content of your most important documents,”

Adobe invented PDF creation for PCs, and with Adobe Scan app we’re doing the same for a mobile-first world. As part of Adobe Document Cloud program, new applications like Adobe Scan integrated with services like Adobe Sign and Acrobat DC which offers a modern document experience our customers,” Lamkin said.
