If you have signed in with your Google account on your mobile phone, you can secure your device with 2-step verification process by Google. The Google settings options allow you to access various features device tracking, automatic backups and factory reset protection.
In 2-step verification process, you should link your Mobile number so that it will send a secured verification code each time you tried to log in. The user should make sure that the registered mobile number should be in service. Otherwise, the user should try other security options provided by Google.

While installing apps from, unknown sources check the reviews and rating of the app, if the app doesn’t have good rating and review scores don’t install it.
